I am staying with my friend and fellow The Messengers team mate, Patrick. His humble abode is super nice and cozy. I get to use his WiFi and microwave and shower and stuff. His brother, Jordan, is also very nice. They are good folk!
Last night was an array of emotions. I cried when I had to say good bye to Bo, Momo, Ytun, and of course, Jaspy. It was sad. I almost didn't want to leave! Once I got through security, I had about twenty minutes before boarding. I was so sad. I literally sat by myself at a charging station, trying to hold back my tears. I texted Tarrysa telling her I was homesick. I was very homesick.
Ten minutes to go before I had to board my plane and I didn't call my mum yet. I was so nervous to call her. I got up the nerve to call, but she was working late, so she didn't pick up. I was kinda relieved. hehe! So I called a few more times, and ended up just leaving a text.
She replied:
Kb, I think you can still use your phone, if it is not working u can buy a phone card. So I hope u have a wonderfull trip, I love and miss you, take care. If you have any problem, just let mommy know, ok. Baby, I love you.
Ah I feel home sick again! I love you mama.
So getting to the airport was a rush of confusion. I had to get my passport verified, had to get past the authorities, and had to change my American money into Canadian currency. FINALLYYYYY I got to see my best friend Brian!~! and I got to meet Patrick and Marcus!!!! It was so exciting.
Once there, I was SO EXCITED! Things are so different here. They pay for gas by the litre, they use kilometers instead of miles...the money here is like monopoly money, it's awesome!
I got to eat fried chicken with my friends and I met Patrick's brother, Jordan. I texted my friends back home. I fell asleep.
