Jordan is a loud boy. He eats really loud, but he's fun and nice, so it's okay.
I showered and got ready for the day.
Patrick wouldn't be home for another few hours and I really wanted to explore, so I asked Jordan if I could go with him. He said that would be weird if I went to physical therapy with him. haha! He gave me a subway fare token and a barely readable map.
I was headed to Dundas!
Which in Jordan's words is like Times Square but not as cool/New York-y.
Once I put my token fare into the machine, I was in! Now I had to get to Yonge by subway, then go South on Bloor to get to Dundas. This sounds easy, but I got lost a lot and had to take the same subways back and forth. :c
Anyway, Canadians are actually very interested in the election!
Waiting.... waiting...... waiting.....
And then...
a wild subway appears!
I didn't really know what to do, so after walking around for about twenty minutes, I decided to just go back to Dundas and eat at the food court. I met a cool girl named Kelly there. She sat across from me and we just ate food and talked. She was so helpful and super nice. She thought it was cool that I wanted to adventure on my own, especially being so young. Then I used her phone to meet with Patrick.
Patrick helped me with my money..because the money here is confusing...but I managed to get onto the subway and now we are back at his apartment, hanging out and chillin. I miss you guys back home! Tonight I'm going to Arts Bar to perform at the open mic. I'm excited!
love & lowell,
little mars
